Our Pastor
Pastor Steven Thomas gave his life to Christ when he was 13 years old at a small Pentecostal church in his home town. By the age of 14 he had accepted God’s call on his life to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
From 1999 to 2001 Pastor Steve attended World Harvest Bible College and studied Pastor Ministry and Church Histroy under the anointed ministry of Pastor Rod Parsley and World Harvest Church in Columbus, Ohio.
Pastor Steven and his wife Edna have been in ministry together since 2003, and have served in many areas of ministry from small groups and youth ministry to church planting and evangelism.
Pastor Thomas has a passion for God’s word and the local church with a mission to win the lost. He has declared to do so by whatever means God makes available to them, no matter how un-conventional they may be. With conviction, boldness, and passion, Pastor Steve declares the word of God as our only hope to really live life to the fullest.
Our History
Kingdom Harvest Assembly of God is a revitalization of a church that was on the verge of closing its doors in 2009. It was then that the six remaining members were determined that God was not finished and that their best days were not behind them.
Pastor Steven Thomas along with his wife Edna and their son Joshua developed a burden for the Washington area. When they came and saw the potential of what God could do, they were also convinced that a resurrection was on its way. With continued prayer and seeking God for direction, the church transitioned from Washington Assembly of God to Kingdom Harvest Church.
Now a growing and thriving church with a Missional focus on ministry, Kingdom Harvest Church is building the community and reaching out to a generation. KHC is proclaiming the greatest story ever told and connecting people to their kingdom purpose in life.
